Standard on the Panasonic KX-CL510 are 10/100Base TX ethernet, USB and parallel connections to provide easy access to your network. Set up is simple and should not take you very long. The printer was designed for the ease of use in small to mid sized offices, much like the HP CP3505 toner printer, and offers its users 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi resolutions on black and white and color prints at its maximum settings. The equipped media capacity is only 630 sheets consisting of a 100 sheet multipurpose feeder and a 530 sheet tray. The maximum of 1,690 sheets can be attained by adding additional trays to support your demands for printing.
Color is presented well if only used for accents and impact; printing photos shows banding and fading within the colors of the print. Monochrome prints are produced very well and at 21 pages per minute at 600 dpi by 600 dpi resolutions, which is better than some of the competition like the Brother HL-4040 toner printer. The Panasonic KX-CL510 supports a vast number of different operating systems including SunSoft, Novell NetWare, Mac, and many others.
A 360 MHz processor powers the quick print speeds and great text printing of the KX-CL510, and while the color isn't fantastic, it prints at speeds close to 16 pages per minute. The base memory of 128 MB can be expanded using an expansion memory slot on the machine. The toner cartridges have a page yield of 5,000, which falls a bith short of the 6,000-page LaserJet 3800 toner. The KX-CL510 toner is applied to the paper in a single pass giving your business quicker first page out times.
