The automatic color detection feature in the Panasonic DP-CL22 color laser printer enables each part of your document to be treated differently and gives you the best print possible every time you use it. Not to mention the savings on time that would have been spent calibrating and setting up color schemes on the printer itself. The monitoring software will send you email notifications to alert you to issues with printing jobs, toner levels, and usage. It can be set up to send each user these notices as well. Set up is simple but should you need assistance a remote technician can set up the printer on your network from a separate location thanks to some software from Panasonic.
The toner cartridge is meant for long life and should last about 15,000 pages, but this will depend upon your coverage percentages and the complexity of your printing demands. Networking is possible through the ethernet 10/100Base TX, IEEE 1284 or USB 2.0 ports allowing for all ages of systems to use the unit. A PostScipt Upgrade Kit will allow the direct printing of PDF files and they can be printed from multiple locations, even off site.
Parallel printing features on the DP-CL22 allow for the simultaneous and automatic printing of large documents on up to 10 different printers on your network so the job is done quicker and with less down time. Security functions are enabled when you opt for the internal hard disk at an additional charge of course. This will let you send a document to be printed, but only after the correct password is input into the Panasonic DP-CL22.
