Oki Toner Cartridges

Okidata was founded by Kibataro Oki in 1881 and during the 1950's Okidata, commonly known as Oki, introduced the first printer capable of printing 2500 Kanji, or Japanese, characters greatly increasing the viability of printing technologies for character based languages. Today Oki leads the industry in LED printing technology. Oki LED color printers have fewer moving parts than a laser printer and reduce the chances for mechanical issues and maintenance. Laser printers need a system of mirrors to reflect light to fuse the Oki toner to the page. The lack of needing alignment leads to improved image quality as an array of LED lights fuses the toner directly to the document.

Okidata color LED printing allows for color and monochrome documents to have their ink toner fused to the page in a single pass greatly increasing the productivity of the user and workgroup. Okidata has also designed the toner in the printer cartridge to be completely independent of each other. This means that each individual color toner cartridge can be removed and replaced independently of the others reducing the cost per page. To further increase the print technology Microfine High Definition laser toners have been created to supply pristine full color and monochromatic documents.

The high definition toner is many times smaller than previous toners on the market. Good examples are Okidata C5500 toner and Oki C3200 toner. Both combine affordable prices and exceptional quality. The small size enables the LED the fuse toner at the correct saturation and calibration producing full color documents on any number of media types. These color and monochromatic toners reduce the grainy nature of a printed image due to their small size. A smaller toner particle means more particles can be fused in a smaller area thus producing higher color definition and crisp text down to the smallest font sizes without dithering or bleed. The Microfine High Definition toners use fewer particles in the printing process and in turn lower the cost per page printed.
