The Okidata C7300 is an LED color printer designed for the small or medium office environment. It has large format support and fast printing speeds, but lacks networking in its standard configuration which is present in the basic model of the LaserJet 2840 toner printer.

The OKI C7300 is a great choice for the office that needs to do large format printing, as it can handle up to banner printing sizes. It also supports a wide variety of paper types, up to 110 lb. index in weight. It is also a good choice for users who do a lot of graphics-heavy printing, as it has 64 MB of RAM and a 450 MHz processor, allowing it to process large documents easily. If that is not enough, the memory can be expanded to a maximum of 1024 MB. There is also an optional 10 GB hard drive upgrade, allowing users to store documents to the printer itself for archiving and later printing.

Paper capacity is 630 sheets, divided among a standard tray of 530 sheets, and a multipurpose tray of 100 sheets. Up to two additional sheets can be added, each with a capacity of 530 sheets, for a maximum of 1,690 sheets total capacity. The only major downside of the C7300 is a lack of preview LCD, like on the top panel of the Dell 3110cn toner printer.

Okidata C7300 toner cartridges are fairly inexpensive, resulting in a lower cost per page. Each of the four Okidata C7300 toner cartridges has a capacity of 10,000 pages, so users will not need to replace cartridges often.

Print speeds are solid, especially for color printing. Print speeds are 24 pages per minute in black and 20 pages per minute in color. Print quality is generally good. High-grade ink toner makes text very sharp and detailed, but loses some sharpness on smaller fonts. Graphics and photos look excellent.

Overall, the OKI C7300 is a good choice for large-format or graphics-heavy environments, but may be overkill for an office that only does a small amount of color printing, especially for its price.
