The Okidata C710 is a standard laser printer designed to meet the needs of a busy office. The 100,000-print monthly duty cycle will handle mid to high-volume daily printing rates. The C710 has different model variations that allow this unit to fit environments with a variety of requirements. The C710n features networking, the C710dn has automatic duplex printing as well as networking and the C710dtn has all of the previously mentioned features plus a larger paper capacity.

With a processor that operates with 700 MHz, the paper output for the C710 is 30 pages per minute in color and 32 pages per minute using only Black Okidata C710 toner. These speeds are average for an office color laser printer and will keep up with fast-pace operations. Connection options include the standard parallel and USB ports found on most printers, as well as an ethernet port that allows networking. The C710 is compatible with all major operating systems, also.

Weighing about 60 pounds with a frame of 17.1x23.9x15.3 inches, this machine will fit comfortably in limiting spaces and can be installed by one or two people. It may not be the most portable machine on the market, but the quality of 1200x600 dpi provided by the Okidata C710 toner cartridges makes it a good choice for work groups.

There are four toners that are needed for operation. The three color Oki C710 toner cartridges each have a page yield of 11,500 prints and the black can print up to 11,000 pages before expiring. Replacement printer toner is available from the manufacturer or online from third party vendors.
