The Okidata C3200 is a color laser printer designed for the home or small office user. It features good paper handling and networking, but its speed might be too slow with too many shared users.
The OKI C3200 uses LED technology in its printing mechanism, which is more of a sub-category of laser printers than a new category unto itself. The LED printing mechanism has a few advantages, one of them being speed, and while the C3200 is a bit faster than some printers with a 4-pass printing mechanism like itself, it is still a bit on the slow side of what is available for just a bit more money. Text is sharp and defined, and color and graphics are both solid.
The Okidata C3200 toner cartridges come in both a standard and high capacity. Since the standard has a low capacity of 1,500 pages per cartridge, purchasing the high capacity Okidata C3200 toner cartridges would be a much wiser decision. With its 3,000 page yield per cartridge, the high capacities would cut down on the user’s cost per page.
Overall, the Okidata C3200 is a good printer with fast speeds and good print quality. Glossy-looking ink and lack of expandability could be issues for some users.
