The OKI C3100 and its replacement the OKI C3200 are perfect for the home user or small office whether it be at home or a single office. Auto color balancing will keep your color prints looking clean, neat and consistent without any interference form you or your staff. The OKI color laser C3100 and C3200 print full color documents at up to 12 pages per minute and monochrome documents at 20 pages per minute. Remember that the type and weight of media used to print on will influence these numbers. A larger document, say a banner, will take a bit longer to print than a letter sized or legal sized print.
New photo enhancement technology on the OKI C3200 enables users to create impressive photographic prints for a fraction of the cost of other printers in class. Color is distributed well, and there are very few dithering instances. Although the C3100 is no longer being manufactured by OKI, they are still making parts and servicing the machines and this allows you to get a great printer at a much lower price.
An LED transfer system applies the four Okidata toner colors, magenta, yellow, cyan, and black, to the printing media. This system or method of transferring the color needs less time to warm up and has less moving parts allowing for faster first page printed times and lower maintenance costs. Both the OKI C3200 and C3100 can print on larger media sizes using the multipurpose tray and hand feeding large documents. This may be a drawback to a busy office, but works great for the occasional need for larger prints as in school classes or an advertising event for your business or office.
