The Lexmark X750 color laser printer, also known as the X750e, can print, scan, copy, and fax, unlike the Okidata C5100 toner printer, which is a single-purpose unit. Each of the functions is well-designed, and most likely perform better than older dedicated machines at each task. For example, the unit supports faxing at Super G3 transmission speeds and has a page memory of up to 100 pages, which can recover incoming faxes that would have been missed when the unit is out of paper. Copying and scanning are the two weakest features, due to the limited resolution of the scanning unit. Overall, the Lexmark X750 excels at incorporating many functions into one device, but lackluster scanning quality, slow print speeds, and expensive toner may be out of balance with its good points.
