The Lexmark X3350 is a color photo multifunction printer designed for the home user. It has good photo printing quality and excellent photo features, but Lexmark X3350 ink costs are high, and text quality suffers a bit. Print speed is solid, at up to 22 pages per minute for black and 15 pages per minute for color, but high quality settings will be much slower. The Lexmark X3350 has a compact frame that will appeal to buyers with tight spaces, but it manages to fit a lot of functionality into a small package. It measures 16 inches by 20 inches by 9 inches, and weighs 12.5 pounds. While not the smallest unit in its class, it is not particularly bulky. The machine uses a single black Lexmark X3350 inkjet cartridge and a combined color Lexmark X3350 ink cartridge. The combined cartridge is more convenient than individual cartridges, but less economical, as it can lead to wasted ink if users use a lot of one color. High-capacity cartridges are available for a lower cost per page. The Lexmark X3350 can print, copy, and scan. It includes a PictBridge-enabled USB port for connecting digital cameras directly to the printer. Unfortunately, the LCD screen is not color, as with similar models, so it is not possible to preview or edit photos from the printer directly.
