Marketed mainly as a copier, this device has the capacity to produce 13 copies per minute when only using the black Lexmark P3120 ink and 7 copies per minute in color. Though these speeds will not improve the rate of work at any office, it should be able to keep up with standard demands. The resolution reached by the Lexmark P3120 ink maxes out at 600x1200 dpi unless using the enhanced option, which will increase the resolution to 9600x9600 dpi, though some clarity may be compromised.
The P3120 is connected to a PC via a USB 2.0 port and holds 128 MB worth of memory. The processor size varies depending on the operating system, either Mac or various forms of Windows. The paper capacity is 100 sheets of plain paper and different amounts of other media types such as envelopes, photo paper and transparencies.
