The Lexmark IJ600 is a color printer designed for light-duty use in a home or small office environment. Its print speeds are somewhat slow, at around 2.5 pages per minute for text, and .3 pages per minute for color and graphics. Lexmark IJ600 ink costs are also high, making it an expensive printing solution.
Even though it is designed for the limited spacing of homes and small offices, the Lexmark IJ600 tends to be a bit bulkier than competing models, taking up a larger footprint and making it a little more difficult to fit on a desk than most. Lexmark IJ600 ink cartridges are quite expensive, upping its running costs considerably. They disliked its graphic printing, finding it inconsistent. They also found its printer ink costs to be some of the highest on the market at the time of review.
Overall, the Lexmark IJ600 is a solid color inkjet printer, but it has little to differentiate it from the crowd. Its mediocre print quality and slow speeds make it difficult to recommend, and its very high printer ink costs make it much more expensive to own than competing models.
