| A color multifunction printer can be an asset within the business world today. Lanier’s LP138c, although discontinued from manufacturing, can be an affordable way to get a new all in one unit into the office. Most of these printers are sold refurbished and have a one year warranty to give you piece of mind. The copier is equipped with an intuitive and easy to use interface to copy directly at the unit.
Changing the toner cartridges is as simple as most color laser printers. An informative instructional guide accompanies the unit, and online help is available form Lanier. Networking options are available on some models and are easily interfaced with most operating systems. It is an older series of laser copiers so if you are a Vista user please check with the Lanier site before purchasing. Parts and service are still available form Lanier and 3M, so don’t worry about not getting parts for a discontinued product. The series can handle a variety of paper sizes up to A3+, and has a monthly duty cycle of 1,000,000 pages.
Copy speeds are at 38 pages per minute but will vary based on the size and complexity of the document in use. The speed will save you time and money in your busy day. Fax modems on this series are at 33.6 kbps, and a variety of finishing options are ready to be installed should you so choose. | |
