Konica Minolta has several laser printers, multifunction and just printers, that take advantage of their Magicolor 2400 and 2500 printer cartridges. The toner cartridges deliver powerful color representations on a variety of laser printers. Most of these printers are small, compact and extremely easy to use.
The Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400W has print speeds close to 20 pages per minute black and white, and 5 per minute color and has connectivity through wired interfaces like USB and Ethernet connections. RAM of 32 MB is standard on the 2400 series and cannot be upgraded. The 2400W loser printer is well equipped to handle high resolution images as its max is 2400 by 600 dpi for both color and monochrome prints.
The Konica Minolta 2480MF and 2490MF are all in one units. With printing faxing and scanning all in the same place and great Magicolor toner color technology all of your scanned images will sing in scanned 600 by 600 dpi resolution. The 2480 and 2490 MF printers vary on a few details but have 128 MB of RAM, and networking is attained through 10/100BaseTX Ethernet and USB ports just like the Magicolor 2400 laser printers. Your first page in color is printed in less than 22 seconds.
Konica Minolta also uses the Magicolor toner cartridges for the 2500 series of laser printers. This series is also extremely compact and affordable, sold for around $400.00 refurbished. Directly interface to a printer using the USB 2.0 port, and has 32 MB SDRAM that is unfortunately not expandable. The Konica Minolta 2500 color laser printers have a maximum resolution of 2400 by 600 dpi, but must use the higher color quality setting.
