Konica-Minolta 7812 Toner Cartridges

Single pass LED color transfer technology gives the printer less moving parts to maintain, fast first out times, and quick print speeds. Add to this a fast processor and expandable memory, then throw in an ample paper input and you have the Konica Minolta 7812 series of color laser printers, which is on par to its bigger brother the magicolor 7400 toner printer. This printer is well suited for use in a busy single office business or small workgroup. The Konica Minolta 7812 series has two models that differ only slightly; the 7812n, the base model, can be upgraded to the same maximums as the 7812dxn model.

The toner cartridge, cyan, yellow, magenta and black, colors are transferred through the use of an LED array of lights that uses digital photographic memory to transfer the color all at once. The printer does have to warm up when you first turn it on, but then prints the first page in 17 seconds for color and monochrome documents are out in less than 11. These times are comparable to other printers in its class, but the Konica Minolta 7812 beats them on price. A 400 MHz processor on the 7812n, 480 MHz for the 7812dxn, provides ample speed to process the most complex color documents.

The toner based Konica Minolta 7812 color laser series prints color documents at 12 pages per minute, and comes with color correction features to limit user involvement. Up to 1,064 MB of RAM can be used to help process your prints more quickly. Add the 5 GB hard drive for secure printing or the duplexing unit to save on your paper costs and filing space. Network connections are made through the USB, ethernet, and parallel ports.
