As with most color laser printers the Konica-Minolta Magicolor 7300 series has to warm up, but this series takes only about a minute and a half after power on, which is a much shorter time than their lower priced Konica-Minolta 2430 toner printer. The toner cartridges are dry toners and use a fuser to transfer the colors one at a time, much like the magicolor 7400 toner. This process does tend to lengthen the printing speeds slightly, but the Konica Minolta 7300 series still prints at an impressive 20 pages per minute in full color. Keep in mind that different size and weight media will affect the speed at which any printer prints, especially with heavy stock paper.
A PowerPC 405 core processor at 266 MHz powers the crisp and consistent graphics production on the 7300 color laser printers. At maximum resolution it creates 9600 by 600 dpi quality color and great half tone monochrome prints. Black and white documents print in 600 by 600 dpi resolution. Coupled with the Konica Minolta Magicolor toner cartridges your documents will jump off of the page into a new client's arms and impress even the most critical and demanding customers, including yourself, with the Konica Minolta 7300 printers. Connect to your PC or Mac network using the 10/100 BaseT ethernet, USB type B (PC only), or parallel ports. Standard with 350 sheets of input and expandable with two more 500 sheet trays, bringing your total to 1,750 sheets. The Konica Minolta 7300 printers have a maximum of 512 MB of SDRAM; the different models have varying memory amounts standard. This is a workgroup laser printer and is said to be a desktop model, but at 24 by 23 by 21 inches you better have one very large desk.
