The Konica-Minolta 7135 is an all-in-one laser printer that has only monochrome capabilities, so users that need color prints will need to look elsewhere. With the ability to print, scan, fax and copy, the 7135 can handle the versatile needs of any mid-sized office. The output rate of 30 pages per minute is provided by the 300 MHz processor and the memory of 64 MB, which can be upgraded at any time to a maximum of 128 MB.

This unit uses an operation method of "scan once, print many". Documents can be scanned to email or files at a rate of 35 images per minute and a maximum internal resolution of 600 dpi. When faxing, the 33.6 Kbps transmission rate allows faxes to be sent in as little as 3 seconds. The Super G3 capabilities allow professional-level faxing as well as internet faxing. The copier has resizing options that range from 25-400% of the original size. As many as 999 duplicates can be produced in a single request.

Only black printer toner is needed so a single Konica-Minolta 7135 toner cartridge is required for operation. Standard toners for this unit have a maximum capacity of 30,000 prints, but the starter Konica-Minolta 7135 toner cartridge that is in the box when purchased has a lower yield. Offices have a quality level that must be reached to uphold professionalism. The Konica-Minolta 7135 toner can produce a resolution of 600x600 dpi, which will meet that standard.

USB and Parallel connections are available for direct connection to a computer and an ethernet base is included to allow networking. The touch screen LCD on the top panel will provide users the ability to manage jobs and monitor the levels of the Konica-Minolta 7135 toner. The maximum paper capacity is 2,500 sheets, enabling this laser printer to handle high-volume printing demands.
