The Konica Minolta Magicolor 5440DL color laser printer provides high impact color to impress any of your clients. It uses single pass laser printing technology in which all of the color from the toner cartridges is transferred simultaneously to the paper through an electro photographic laser. Your first color page is printed in about 14 seconds from idle or ready status cutting downtime and increasing productivity. Color documents and black and white documents fly out of the Konica Minolta 5440DL at 27 pages per minute. If the cost for the printer is too high and print speed can be sacrificed, the magicolor 2430 toner printer is an option. The cyan, magenta, yellow and black toner cartridges arrive factory installed for your convenience.
The Konica 5440DL color laser printer is a is a workgroup model with an input capacity of 1,600 sheets enabling even the busiest workgroup to increase their productivity. Add the cabinet option to store media and support the printer itself; it's even on casters for easier movement. The fast 10/100BaseTX ethernet connection allows easy integration to a LAN or use the USB 2.0 for connectivity. You can also print pictures directly form a digital camera in amazing quality and clarity; the Konica Minolta is PictBridge 1.0 compatible. There is a 5440DL model available, which adds extra paper handling and automatic duplexing.
Minolta 5440DL toner cartridges come in two sizes. The standard color laser toner cartridges have capacities of 6,000 pages each, as does the black printer toner cartridge. High-yield cartridges are available, with capacities of 12,000 pages each. The QMS Magicolor 5440DL toner cartridges are similar in price and design to the popular Konica-Minolta 5430 toner cartridges.
There is 64 MB of SDRAM onboard and can be upgradeable to 576 MB via a single slot. The Magicolor 5440DL comes with Enhanced Automatic Image Density Control to alleviate any involvement from users. This feature also autocorrects color for differences in media types, sizes and color variations in toner. The Konica Minolta Magicolor 5440DL is compatible with Windows including Vista, Mac and Linux operating systems.
