The HP OfficeJet T65 is an all-in-one inkjet printer with scanning, copying and faxing capabilities. Designed to improve efficiency in the work place, this unit has decent speeds and average resolutions but can still produce professional-level quality. It may not make the most vivid photos or print a page every couple of seconds, but it will still satisfy the needs of any low-volume office.
Printing or copying with HP T65 ink, it can produce a maximum resolution of 600x600 dpi. The scanner can reach 300x600 dpi, and the fax machine only gets up to 200x200 dpi. Dpi stands for dots per inch, which determines how many miniscule drops of OfficeJet T65 ink are layered per inch of paper. None of these resolutions are super impressive, but all will suffice and create crisp text documents and decent graphics or pictures.
There are two HP T65 ink cartridges, one black and the other tricolor. The tricolor tank consists of cyan, magenta and yellow printer ink. Using only the black, as many as 11 pages per minute can be printed and 6 can be copied. Using the multi-color OfficeJet T65 ink cartridge, 8.5 pages can be printed per minute and 2 copies can be made in a minute.
The fax machine has a 75 page memory and 100 speed dials. It can send a fax with or without a PC, and do so in about 6 seconds per page. The scanner has a 24-bit color bit and can send faxes directly to email accounts. The copy machine has the ability to zoom an image anywhere from 25% to 400%, and it can make 99 copies from an original.
There is a 3,000 monthly duty cycle, which may require replacement HP T65 ink. There are vendors that sell discounted printer ink, so maintenance for the HP OfficeJet T65 will be as affordable as the inkjet printer itself.
