The HP LaserJet P3015 is a monochrome laser printer designed for the medium or large office environment. It offers blazing fast speeds, high yield toner cartridges and excellent paper handling, with the expansion capabilities to fit almost any need.
The HP P3015 is built for high-volume office use, but it still manages to be fairly affordable. It is also surprisingly compact, despite its fast printing engine and large paper capacity. One of ways HP keeps the P3015 affordable is with its many expansion options. For example, the LaserJet P3015 does not include networking in its standard configuration, but an ethernet print server or wireless print server upgrade can be added at any time. Additional paper trays can be added for more paper capacity as well. The main tray holds 500 sheets, and the multipurpose tray holds 100 sheets, but up to two 500-sheet trays can be added on. These expansion options keep buyers from having to pay for features they don't need.
The P3015 has a 540 MHz processor and 96 MB of RAM, so it can handle its own processing, even in high-volume office environments. The RAM can be expanded to a maximum of 608 MB if desired. The printer has a rated monthly duty cycle of up to 100,000 pages, so buyers need not be concerned about its ability to handle a large number of users.
HP LaserJet P3015 toner cartridges have a capacity of 6,000 pages, but high-yield cartridges are also available. The larger HP P3015 toner comes with a capacity of 12,500 pages. Users can save even more money by using third-party compatible HP LaserJet P3015 toner cartridges instead of the more expensive HP cartridges. Compatible HP LaserJet toner cartridges are of equal quality to the manufacturers' cartridge. Any compatible HP toner cartridge purchased is guaranteed to meet or exceed the equivalent OEM page yield in addition to being backed by our satisfaction guarantee.
Print speed is around 40 pages per minute, making it one of the fastest printers on the market. Print quality is superb. Text is sharp, dark, and defined. Graphics quality is above average, and doesn't suffer from many of the common issues for laser printers.
Overall, the P3015 is an excellent choice for the high-volume office. Its speed and quality are impressive, and expansion possibilities give it room to grow in the future. The only maintenance that is required is to refill the printer with HP P3015 toner when it runs out.

The HP LaserJet P3015 is designed for fast, high-volume printing, at up to 42 pages per minute. It comes in variations that include networking, duplexing, and extra paper capacity, and it has a front USB port for walk-up printing. The standard paper capacity of 500 sheets is a good fit for smaller offices, with room to expand.
With the printer plugged in and turned on, start by pressing the button to release the cartridge door, and lower the door all the way down. Look for a handle on the LaserJet P3015 toner cartridge, and pull it out toward you.
Preparing the new HP P3015 cartridge starts with opening the box and removing the packing materials, and also removing the cartridge from the bag. Shake the cartridge back and forth several times to loosen the toner inside and distribute it more evenly.
Remove the packing tape from the P3015 cartridge by grabbing it and pulling in the direction of the arrow. Loosen the tape attached to the black paper protecting the drum, and remove both the tape and the paper as well.
Slide the new HP P3015 toner cartridge into the opening of the printer, then press it backward firmly. Raise and close the cartridge door to finish the process.
