The HP LaserJet P2015 laser printer is designed for the personal home or office user. Its fast printing speeds and compact size make it a good choice for personal use, and a good value for its price, like the HP P1005 toner printer.
The compact design of the HP P2015 laser printer is impressive for a machine such good print quality. Often, a compact design tends to sacrifice print quality or print speed, but this is not the case here. The unit measures 10.1 inches by 13.8 inches by 14.3 inches (HWD) and weighs only 24 pounds. This gives it a very small footprint, suitable for keeping it on a desktop if desired. The unit comes with a 250 sheet input tray for standard paper. Also included is a 50 sheet multipurpose tray that folds down from the front of the machine. This is extremely useful for those who need to switch paper sizes and types often, as it eliminates the need for clearing out the standard paper tray every time a new paper type is needed, a common necessity for personal lasers. Additionally, there is a single-sheet straight pass-through door in the rear of the unit for media types that don't easily bend or may get jammed.
HP LaserJet P2015 toner cartridges come in two capacities: a standard HP P2015 toner cartridge with a capacity of 3,100 pages, and a high-yield printer toner cartridge with a capacity of 7,100 pages. Though the upfront cost of the high-yield laser toner cartridge is higher, its per-page costs are much lower, making it the most economical choice for LaserJet toner.
Print speed is very impressive, at 22 pages per minute for text. Graphics print at around 21 pages per minute. Both speeds are very fast for a personal laser model. Print quality is excellent, especially for text, with clean, sharp text, even at small font sizes.
Overall, the HP LaserJet P2015 is a well-designed personal laser printer with impressive speeds and great print quality. Extra features like the fold-out multipurpose tray add greatly to its value.

With crystal clear prints and a 1200-dpi output resolution, the LaserJet P2015 is a great choice for text and graphics use. Its maximum speed of 27 pages per minute is fast enough to keep up with a fast-paced small office, and an optional paper tray can expand its capacity to a maximum of 550 sheets.
Press the toner button at the top right of the cartridge access door to release it, then lower it down out of the way. Look for the handle at the front of the HP P2015 toner cartridge, then grasp and pull it out of the machine.
Prepare the replacement LaserJet P2015 cartridge by removing it from the box, setting aside the packing materials, and removing the plastic bag. Rock the cartridge forward and backward around 6 times to loosen the toner powder that may have settled. Remove the packing tape by finding the end and pulling it straight out of the cartridge.
Slide your new HP P2015 toner cartridge into the opening, aligning with the guide rails on both sides. Once it is settled, press to ensure it is fully seated in the printer, then close the access panel.
You are now ready to resume printing with your HP LaserJet P2015 printer.
