OfficeJet All-in-One
These days, it seems like the world moves so fast that when a person takes a minute to catch their breath, a whole day passes by. Electronics are continuously being developed to keep pace with world and create an efficiency that people have yet to see. This is evident in the new obsession with all-in-one machines that are prominent at any growing or large business. These save money, time and space, as well as offer the ability to support entire communities of printing needs. But before these monster devices were being built every day, there was the HP OfficeJet All-in-One.
The HP All-in-One was one of the first multi-functioning machines to not only hit the market, but make waves that have evolved into a tsunami of products. At one time, this inkjet printer, copier and fax machine was innovative and fresh, though now it would more likely be coined a burden. Using the single HP All-in-One ink cartridge, only 3 pages per minute can be produced. If making copies, it takes nearly a minute to produce a single copy. Faxing takes about 10 seconds per page to send out, and scanning was probably not even a known technology when this unit was born.
Clearly not designed for graphics or photos, the OfficeJet All-in-One ink cartridge is filled only with black printer ink. Even though this machine has long since been discontinued, replacement HP All-in-One ink is still available online from third party vendors. For consumers who are still using this printer, it is fortunate the printer ink is readily available, considering the HP All-in-One ink cartridges only yield approximately 800 pages.
Compatible with Windows only, the All-in-One will work with limited operating systems. The OfficeJet All-in-One ink can adhere to various types of paper, which is one of the few redeeming qualities found in this ancient inkjet printer.
