Using only the black printer ink, up to 35 pages per minute can be printed, and with the color OfficeJet Pro L7700 ink cartridge, up to 34 pages per minute can be printed. These specs are the same for the copier as well.

With the help of the black HP L7700 ink, a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi can be reached while printing. The color printer ink can reach even higher resolutions - at 4800x1200 dpi, which is quite impressive. The copier, using the black or color HP L7700 ink can only reach resolutions of 1200x600 dpi, but it can make about 99 copies from an original. The scanner can reach an enhanced resolution of 19200 dpi.

The fax function is said to send faxes in about 3 seconds per page in black or color OfficeJet Pro L7700 ink. It also has a memory of up to 125 pages, and it can save up to 99 numbers in the speed dial.

Though some consumers are happy with their purchase of the HP OfficeJet Pro L7700 and its wireless printing features, most reviews for this inkjet unit tend to be rather negative. Multiple people have complained about paper jams being a constant issue, while others say they had problems over and over again with the scanner. Another complaint is that faxes send incorrectly, sometimes sending only partial documents. A few have even mentioned the all in one crashing completely. If this multifunction teaches users anything, it's that looks can be deceiving.
