Speeds for printing and copying are respectable. Using black and color OfficeJet J3635 ink, 30 pages per minute and 24 pages per minute, respectively, can be copied and printed. These speeds are quite impressive and stand out from the pack when compared to similar all-in-one inkjet units on the market.

The fax machine is by far the most excellent aspect of the J3635. It has the ability to make 99 copies from an original, which is pretty standard. Also available is a 200 page memory and a busy redial feature. Ring detect also comes standard, and faxes have transmission speeds of 33.6 Kbps. It can also serve the purpose of a phone that can receive calls and dial out.
