F4135
The HP Deskjet F4135 is a stylish all in one that prints laser-quality documents and vibrant photos. Due to its 500 page per month duty cycle, this unit would best fit into a home setting; however, small businesses with small capacities could benefit from using this inkjet unit. With decent speeds and high resolutions, it is definitely worth a look. However, it's low yielding and somewhat expensive HP F4135 ink may be a deal breaker. A more economical printer contains HP 88 Yellow ink.
This machine weighs only 9.39 pounds and has dimensions of 18.4x8.8x12 inches. Though it is a multi-functioning unit that can print, scan and copy, faxing capabilities are obsolete. A USB connection is required for using the F4135?meaning wireless connectivity is not an option. Most media sizes are supported, like letter, executive, card, legal and standard photo sizes. A 32 MB memory comes standard, and it's hard to find a more affordable upfront price.
One black and one tricolor HP F4135 ink cartridge are needed to print. The tricolor printer ink has a yield of 165 pages and the black has a yield of 190 pages. Xerox solid ink printers have much higher yielding ink, such as Xerox 108R00669 ink which can yield 3,000 pages. Though the F4135s yields aren't very high, there are two alternatives to buying new tanks monthly- the first alternative is to buy high capacity ink, meaning it yields more pages. The second and more affordable option is to purchase HP F4135 ink from third party vendors.
The highest resolution available while printing in color or black is 1200x2400 dpi, and it only prints 14 pages per minute in color and 20 pages per minute in black. Though only two Deskjet F4135 ink cartridges are needed for printing, a third photo printer ink can be purchased. Not all printers offer this phoho printing upgrade and simply have a color tank, like Epson T5846 ink. Upon usage, the buyer would take the black Deskjet F4135 ink out of the inkjet unit and put the photo tank in its place. All around, most users are satisfied with only a few complaints involving installation and mechanical issues.
