The HP Photosmart D7245 is a color photo printer that creates lab-quality prints. A borderless 4x6 picture can be ready for framing in less than 15 seconds. Using black HP D7245 ink, this unit can produce 33 pages per minute. With the color printer ink, it can make up to 31 pages per minute. For text documents, the D7245 is average, but for photo printing, it is one of HPs finer machines. A small business would be content with standard printing functionality, but this inkjet printer is aimed more toward home users.
Compatible with Windows and Mac, the Photosmart D7245 offers different connections—high speed USB 2.0 port, Ethernet and a Bluetooth option. It also is equipped with slots for memory cards and PictBridge for connecting a digital camera. For high volume consumers, the 3000 page monthly duty cycle will keep maintenance cost down. Replacement tanks of Photosmart D7245 ink and printheads are affordable, and they are cheaper in bulk.
