The HP Deskjet D4360 color inkjet printer is a solid personal use device that will also fulfill your printing requirements if you're managing a small business. The Deskjet D4360 measures 17.5 x 8.15 x 6.7 in and weighs 7.6 lb. Its small footprint and light weight mean that the device takes less space and can be moved around easily within the office premise.

This HP inkjet printing device offers printing speeds of up to 30 ppm for black and white prints and up to 23 ppm for color prints. The D4360 is a stand-alone and not an MFD. Black print resolution is of up to 1200 x 1200-rendered dpi. It features borderless printing but two-sided printing has to be done manually. There is no support for memory cards which means the device has to be connected to a PC for use.

Paper is input via an 80-sheet tray that can be folded when not in use. The print-cancel feature lets you save both ink and paper. The machine comes with one USB 2.0 port but no networking or wireless capabilities. The unit does not ship with a USB cable. It has a duty cycle of up to 3000 pages. If you are using a Mac, then you need to have OS 10.5 or higher installed.

Installing the drivers for the printer is easy. The LED display level on the inkjet cartridges is a neat feature that apprises you about the amount of ink remaining in the cartridge; however, this feature works only with new ink cartridges and not re-filled ones. This machine is shipped with HP 74/75 Black/Color Combo HP inkjet cartridges that yield 200 black and 170 color text prints. The cartridge yield may not appear to be significant; however, it is on par with what you can expect with small inkjet printers. Replacement cartridges are inexpensive and easily available, you can set print quality to a level you are comfortable with and hopefully make the cartridge last longer.

Overall, the HP Deskjet D4360 is a value-for-money printer suitable for light to medium printing needs.
