Despite its low cost and efficient print speed, the HP D1663 may leave users wanting a device with a wider array of functions and better cost per page, like units that use Canon PG-210XL ink.
Black HP D1663 ink prints at a slightly above average speed of 20 pages per minute and color printer ink works at a respectable 16 pages per minute. The maximum resolution using color and black HP Deskjet D1663 ink is a disappointing 600X600 dpi, however, and results for full color graphics tend to appear grainy.
