The black HP C4599 ink cartridge yields around 200 pages, while the color tanks yield only 170 pages. The optional third Photosmart C4599 ink tank—which is primarily for photo printing—can only yield 130 pages. If low volume printing is all that is needed, this unit will be fine. But when printing at mid to high-volume, this inkjet unit will become a major expense due to the high cost of low yielding printer ink.
