There are four HP B8353 ink cartridges used inside of the machine. These tanks are filled with black, tricolor, photo color and photo gray printer ink. The tricolor Photosmart B8353 ink cartridge has cyan, magenta and yellow ink inside, and the standard capacity tank will last 330 pages before needing replaced. There is a high capacity option too that can last 560 pages. The black printer ink lasts 480 pages for standard capacity and 860 pages for high capacity.

The two additional HP B8353 ink cartridges needed are photo color and photo gray. With these two Photosmart B8353 ink tanks, buyers will be able to create high quality documents time after time. These photos will not only look realistic, but they will look true to life and professional too. Using all of HP B8353 ink, buyers will be able to create resolutions as high as 4800x1200 dpi. With resolutions like that, complaints will be hard to find.

All around, the speeds are decent for this inkjet printer. When printing in black-and-white, speeds of 30 pages per minute can be reached, while color printing speeds of up to 20 pages per minute are possible. A full color photo can be produced in around 26 seconds.
