The HP OfficeJet Pro 8000 is a printer that has the convenience of borderless and automatic double-sided printing. This inkjet unit can print on brochure paper, photo paper, envelopes, index cards and transparencies. It can print about 34 pages per minute using color OfficeJet Pro 8000 ink. This printer can produce full color 8.5x11 inch photos. Standard media sizes for this device include 3x5 inch, 5x7 inch, 4x10 inch and 8x10 inch paper.

This unit has black, cyan, magenta and yellow OfficeJet Pro 8000 ink cartridges that each come in separate containers. As a result, users can conveniently replace tanks separately as they expire. High yielding compatible black HP 8000 ink cartridges have a capacity of 1,000 pages. Its high capacity color tanks of HP 8000 ink yield approximately 900 pages.

This inkjet unit has an HP Jetdirect ethernet external print server, an HP Jetdirect wireless connection, an ethernet external printer server and an HP wireless print server as optional connective options. Its standard connective option is a USB 2.0 port. The box comes with a built-in automatic duplexer, a tank for each color of ink, a power cord, a setup poster and a safety and setup guide. The manufacturer also provides a CD-ROM with software compatible for Windows and Mac operating systems.
