The HP Photosmart 7760 is a single-purpose inkjet printer designed for photo printing. An office will not find much use for this machine, but home users will appreciate its quality and reliability. It can print 3,000 pages per month, though the HP 7760 ink cartridges can only yield around 100 pages. Replacement printer ink might become costly for high-volume printing, but for standard use, it will merely be routine maintenance.
Connected by USB ports, the 7760 can also connect directly to cameras and has slots for memory cards, which eliminates the need for a PC. There is a 1.8 inch LCD on the top of the printer for previewing images before printing. The Photosmart 7760 ink can adhere to various canvases, including envelopes, cards, labels, banners, iron-on transfers, transparencies and photo paper.

The HP PhotoREt IV helps to enhance the resolution and the drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology uses nozzles to create layers of ink that magnify the colors.
There is a built-in RAM of 16 MB and optional networking for small work groups.
