The HP OfficeJet 700 is an all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home or small offices. It has the ability to scan, copy, fax and print, all in color. Though it has all of these modern features, it is an older machine, which is made clear by the maximum speed and quality. The HP 700 ink used in this unit is an innovative fade-resistant liquid, but matched with a low-yielding core, this printer just is not cut out to provide efficiency for bigger businesses.
Using black OfficeJet 700 ink, only 5 pages per minute can be printed at a maximum resolution of 600x600 dpi. Dpi stands for dots per inch, which is a type of measurement based on the amount of tiny droplets of HP 700 ink that are put onto every inch of paper. The color printer ink can produce 2 pages per minute at a resolution of 300x300 dpi.
There are two standard OfficeJet 700 ink cartridges, one consists of black printer ink and the other is tricolor. These tanks come in the box, and replacements can be found online for an affordable price. There is also an optional photo-special HP 700 ink cartridge that will provide more crisp and clear images than the standard tanks.
