Released in the early 2000s and since discontinued by HP, this unit set the bar for single-purpose photo printers. Even though printing with the black HP 6127 ink could only yield a resolution of 600x600 dpi, the color printer ink shined with an outstanding resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, which is high than HP 95 ink. The manufacturer recommends not exceeding 5,000 prints per month, so if used to the fullest capacity, the tanks of HP 6127 ink will need to be replaced multiple times a month. In that case, look into third party vendors with compatible or remanufactured options.
