The HP Photosmart 5510 is a color inkjet all-in-one with an emphasis on network and web integration. With support for ePrint and AirPrint, it makes printing from a variety of devices and locations simple, making it a very effective device for home users. It has ISO rated print speeds of up to 11 pages per minute black and 7.5 for color. The discrete colors of HP 5510 printer ink make it fairly cost-effective as well.
One of the problems users face as they start using more and more electronic devices is how to integrate them all together. The 5510 supports protocols like Apple's AirPlay, which allows users to print directly from an iPad, iPhone, and other devices. If a device does not support the proper protocols, all hope is not lost. The ePrint feature prints anything sent to a specific address as an email.
The wireless support of the 5510 means all of this happens easily with no wires. Scans can be sent to a computer directly and print jobs can be sent without wires. The unit even functions as a standalone copy machine. The 1200 dpi print quality can provide very sharp output, and numerous borderless photo sizes are available such as 4x6 inches.
Most inkjet models have more expensive running costs than other technologies, but Photosmart 5510 ink cartridges are surprisingly affordable. High-capacity HP 5510 ink cartridges can provide up to 750 pages, and compatible Photosmart 5510 printer ink is even less expensive.
As home devices like the 5510 bundle more and more functionality into a single device, they truly become an all-in-one machine. With so many ways to connect with a user's devices, and affordable HP 5510 ink prices, this model is a good value.

With ISO speeds of up to 11 pages per minute, the Photosmart 5510 is fairly quick, and features printing, copying, and scanning features. It also includes wireless support for easy setup, and it can print borderless photos in a number of common sizes.
With the printer turned on, start by opening the access panel at the top by rotating it upward. The cartridges will begin moving to the center on their own.
Find the HP 5510 cartridge you plan to replace, and look for the small lever at the front. Press backward on the lever to unlock the cartridge, then lift it out of the opening.
Remove the new Photosmart 5510 ink cartridge from the box, then also take it out of the plastic bag. Pull on the yellow tape at the top firmly until it is removed, then pry the handle away from the plastic protector before installation.
With the front side tilted down, insert the 5510 cartridge into the slot, then press downward on the top of the cartridge to snap it into place. Lower the access panel slowly to finish the installation.
You are now ready to resume printing with your HP Photosmart 5510 printer.
