The HP LaserJet 2820 is a color laser printer with multifunction features included. The multifunction features include print, copy, scan, and fax. Direct photo printing is also available, allowing users to print photos without the need for a PC.
The 125-sheet multipurpose tray seems a bit small for a printer and a copier combined, but a second 250-sheet tray can be purchased as an optional upgrade for more capacity. The unit includes USB and ethernet connections out of the box. The included ethernet connection makes sharing across the network simple and easy, and the included software allows remote management of the print jobs and settings from any computer on the network.
HP LaserJet 2820 toner cartridges have a good page yield that will satisfy most small offices with moderate printing needs. Each color HP 2820 toner has a capacity of 4,000 pages, and the black HP 2820 toners have a capacity of 5,000 pages per HP LaserJet 2820 toner cartridge.
Overall, the HP LaserJet 2820 does a great job at combining the best features of a networked laser printer with the features of a scanner and copier.
