The other models the 2300, 2300d, n, dn, and 2300dtn all print close to 25 pages per minute increasing your productivity and efficiency. They all support Mac and Windows with UNIX and Linux compatibility optional. A 266 MHz processor powers the HP 2300 laser printer and put the first sheet out in less than 10 seconds, although using different paper or large complex prints may take longer as the unit needs to process all of it.

By using a network card to access the print server you can utilize the Smart Printing supplies and order your supplies as soon as you need them. This system not only can be used to order your supplies it tracks your statuses and levels of HP toner cartridges. Text printing is clear and concise at 1200 by 1200 dpi. Your graphic prints will be more than acceptable, but if you need great graphic prints check out the 2300dtn model as it has more memory and higher input feeds for large documents.

HP LaserJet 2300 toner cartridges are very simple to install. The laser toner cartridge has a capacity of 6,000 pages. Using third-party printer toner cartridges instead of the OEM HP 2300 toner cartridges will save a lot of money over the life of the machine.

Paper input capacity is expanded from 350 to 850 on the 2300dtn model; the other models have a capacity of 350. Memory is expandable to a max of 304 MB, 288 MB on the 2300L model.
