The HP Color Copier 190 makes making copies from home a simple task. While some copiers only have the ability to produce black-and-white documents, the 190 offers color copying too. Equipped with an automatic document feeder and a compact design, this unit was made for homes with copying needs or small businesses. The price tag on the HP 190 ink is affordable too.
Plain paper, photo paper, matte paper, glossy paper, inkjet labels, iron-on transfers, envelopes and transparencies all are supported by the 190, as well as paper sizes like legal and letter.
Two Color Copier 190 ink cartridges are needed to create copies—one holds tricolor printer ink, and the other holds black. The tricolor HP 190 ink cartridge is filled with cyan, magenta and yellow ink. The black and tricolor tanks of printer ink have page yields of 830 and 450, respectively. Those yields mean that these tanks will last a decent amount of time, but other inkjet copiers on the market offer a lower cost per page.
High quality is really what the HP 190 is all about. Black copies can print with a resolution as high as 600x600 dpi, and using color HP 190 ink, maximum resolutions of 1200x1200 dpi are possible.
User reviews of the Color Copier 190, however, are quite negative. Users don't like how sizes only up to letter sizes are supported. Warm-up time is an annoyance because it usually takes about 30 seconds to do so. Paper jams tend to be the biggest complaint across the board when it comes to the 190, and users find that the device has high Color Copier 190 ink consumption. Buyers agree, though, that when it comes to high quality, the Color Copier 190 delivers—it is just a pain getting the finished product.
