It does, however, lack faxing capabilities, though faxing is available in the CX11NF model. The unit is could become cumbersome as it is fairly tall; you may want to set it on its own shelving unit or table.

Epson Aculaser CX11NF toner cartridges, although not the simplest to replace, can be done without much trouble. You do need to open a panel on the top of the unit and the front making it a bit more time consuming than most of its competitors to change the printer toner cartridges. Epson CX11NF toner cartridges contain 4,000 pages per cartridge. The cartridges have the same capacity for each color laser toner cartridge and the single black printer toner cartridge. Standard capacity is 1,500 pages per cartridge.

The machine costs around $700.00 and you can buy the Aculaser CX11NF model for $100.00 more with faxing abilities. This is less expensive than many competing models. The 100 page document feeder comes in especially handy for loading in larger documents and reports for uploading and copying. The unit has a small input capacity at 680 sheets but should do well for a smaller workgroup or office.

Your first print and copy will be out in less than 12 seconds in black and white and 29 seconds for color. It is a little slower than some color lasers but at its price it is totally acceptable. The control panel is back lit making it easy to read and is pretty easy to use. Color graphics are produced in vivid display and are perfect for any business application such as brochures or color enhanced reports.

Overall, the Epson CX11NF color laser printer is a well-designed machine that should fit the needs of a small office quite nicely. Lack of faxing in the base unit could be a concern.
