Using two Epson C44 ink cartridges filled with tricolor and black printer ink, this inkjet unit has the ability to print on media types such as plain paper, transparencies, iron-on transfers, photo paper, cards and glossy photo film. The speeds are slightly disappointing; printing only 11 pages per minute using exclusively black Stylus C44 ink, and using the color printer ink, only 5 pages per minute can be printed. This won't get users very far and the neither will the small capacities of the Stylus C44 ink cartridges. The black and tricolor ink yield only 220 pages and 190 pages, respectively.
The highest resolution possible is 2880x720 dpi. This resolution will give users decent quality, but nothing special. The low yielding ink makes this printer only suitable for home offices with very small monthly capacities.
