The silver gray monochromatic Dell M5200n laser printer is network ready, expandable and, at under $1000.00, a great buy. For color printing, evaluate the Dell 2130cn toner printer. The unit delivers a 35 page per minute print speed at 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi resolution, but in real world test it averaged at about 20 pages per minute, on par with most models in it class. This is made possible with a 300 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM expandable to 320 MB.
Enhancements and expandability are great features of the Dell M5200n laser printer, also referred to as the M5200 or 5200n. Standard is a 500 sheet paper tray and when maxed out the capacity of input sheets rises to 2,600 sheets, an impressive number for under a grand. Toner cartridge costs can be lowered by buying compatible Dell M5200n toner cartridges rather than the name-brand laser toner cartridges.
