Copy speed is a bit on the slow side, at only 6 copies per minute. Warmup time is extremely fast, requiring virtually no time before copying. Users buying the unit for its portability will probably understand the tradeoff for speed, however. Copy quality is generally good, and both automatic and manual exposure settings help users get the best quality copies possible. For better quality, try a model that uses Dell 310-9064 toner.
Overall, the Canon PC550 has the portability to follow users practically anywhere, but its slow speeds and lack of features make it a poor choice for a personal office copier.
