The Canon SmartBase MPC400 is a multifunction inkjet printer that boasts Canon's latest print engine technology that is able to produce lab-quality documents with sharp resolutions of up to 2400x1200 dpi using color and black printer ink. This technology will also allow the MPC400 to work at fast rates compared to other similar units, producing speeds of up to 17 pages per minute for black-and-white projects and 12 pages per minute for color. Regarding color output, users will be satisfied with their graphics and images because the machine uses Microfine droplet technology that can create miniscule Canon MPC400 ink dots that guarantee exact detail and precision.
Two of the unit's all-in-one features include copy and scan functions that can expand the type of projects users are able to produce. The copier is loaded with a number of features, including the ability to make mirror image copies and resizing options. Users also have the option to print a maximum of 99 duplicates from an original document. Copies can be made with accuracy and a sharp maximum resolution of 1200x1200 dpi using SmartBase MPC400 ink. The scanner can scan documents with an integrated resolution of up to 9600 dpi.
The device operates with easy-to-change individual Canon MPC400 ink cartridges that provide the ability for users to replace only printer ink that has expired without wasting any supplies. The cyan, magenta and yellow SmartBase MPC400 ink cartridges each have a yield of 420 prints. As the black is used to produce color prints and black-and-white documents, the black Canon MPC400 ink will last up to 750 pages.
With an all-in-one design, faster printing rates than typical inkjet printers, and the ability to consistently produce detailed prints and copies, the MPC400 is designed to work well for those in a home office environment.
