The Canon Pixma MP600 inkjet unit is an all-in-one photo printer marketed with a lot of promise, but not a lot of follow through. Printing at 30 pages per minute in black printer ink and 24 pages per minute with color, it has a lot of potential for the small or home office. Where it falls flat is upfront price of around $180 and high cost of Canon MP600 ink, among other things.
This unit is bulky, to say the least. It weighs 31 pounds and measures 15.4x17.8x7.7 inches. It is much larger than other products in its class. On the front of the machine, however, there is a 2.5 inch TFT Display and Easy-Scroll Wheel, which makes the operations of printing much easier for the user. Many memory cards, Bluetooth devices and digital cameras can connect directly to the printer and print out precise and sharp color photos.
