The Canon PIXMA MG5320 is a color inkjet printer designed for home use that could also fit well in a small office environment. Its compact design is a good fit for tight spaces, and its affordable price is just right for small budgets. Print speeds are fairly fast, at 12.5 pages per minute in monochrome and 9.3 pages per minute in color. The unit can handle color scanning and copying as well. Printer ink prices are economical, especially with high-capacity Canon MG5320 ink.
The compact design of the MG5320 is quite impressive, especially with its multiple functions. It measures 7 inches by 17.8 inches by 14.5 inches and weighs only 18.3 pounds. This means it will be right at home in small spaces and can be moved around with ease. The device connects via USB, but there is no included ethernet connection for sharing, making it a single user device. Users can connect a thumb drive or media card directly to the machine and the control panel includes a full-color display that allows them to do simple edits to photos before printing.
When it comes to printer ink costs, inkjets can sometimes be expensive to maintain. High-capacity Canon MG5320 ink cartridges help to alleviate some of this expense, providing a lower cost per page than the standard PIXMA MG5320 ink cartridges. Compatible Canon MG5320 ink is also available, reducing costs even lower.
In their review of the Canon MG5320, Cnet praised its compact design, its automatic photo filters, and its sharp print quality. They disliked the lack of an ethernet port, however. At the time they reviewed the unit, they mentioned the lack of high-capacity PIXMA MG5320 ink, but this has since changed. They gave the machine a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, giving it a "Very Good" rating.
Overall, the PIXMA MG5320 is a good choice for photographers and those who do a lot of work with photos. Its scanning and printing are top notch, and its affordable price makes it a great value, as long as you don't need a built-in ethernet port.
