The Canon Pixma MG5120 is an at-home personal printer made for those who enjoy printing graphics or photos. Able to print a borderless photo in around 39 seconds, it will not only impress buyers but also make their lives a little more convenient. At 17.1 pounds, the unit is a little hefty for a personal machine, but it doesn't take up too much room with its small 17.9x14.5x6.3 inch frame.
Four Canon MG5120 ink cartridges are used inside, and they are filled with cyan, yellow, black and magenta printer ink. The color Pixma MG5120 ink cartridges last 510 pages and the photo black lasts 340 pages, while the pigment-based black should print 4,335 pages before needing replaced. This means most users won't have to replace printer ink very often.
The Canon MG5120 ink can produce resolutions as high as 9600x2400 dpi and print speeds are fairly quick. Plain paper, glossy paper, photo paper, envelopes, transparencies and cards can all work very well with the MG5120. A ton of features are offered too, like automatic duplex printing, borderless printing, HD movie print, photo index sheet, photo direct print and template print. It only takes about 20 seconds for the first page to print out, and reduction and enlargement features are offered from 25%-400%.
For the most part, buyers really love the Canon Pixma MG5120. Offering easy setup and easy to use features, it won't complicate things around the office. Users find it to be both reliable and durable, and the sharp tones and colors produced are among its highest rated features. Efficient speeds and overall low Canon MG5120 ink consumption are also praised often. The low upfront retail price and affordable replacement Pixma MG5120 ink also make it a fan favorite. The only real complaint tends to be that for a personal printer, the MF5120 is a little bulky.
