Color laser printers are very powerful machines, and the Canon imageCLASS MF9170 is no exception. With speeds of up to 22 pages per minute using its four Canon MF9170 toner cartridges, buyers may find that it is a little slower than a lot of the competition. Its monthly duty cycle of 65,000 pages will be convenient for most users, and many small to midlevel business won't even be able to surpass that capacity.
Black, cyan, yellow and magenta imageCLASS MF9170 toner cartridges are needed for standard prints. The color toners last just as long as the black printer toner at 6,000 pages. This means that the majority of offices won't need to replace the Canon MF9170 toner very often.
Though the cost per page is a little expensive for some using the imageCLASS MF9170 toner, the resolutions produced may be worth the extra expense.
