The Canon Pixma iP6600D is a high speed and high quality wireless photo printer that is ideal for home users looking for a convenient way to print pictures. It can print a 4"x6" color photo in less than 50 seconds and an 8.5"x11" in just under 2 minutes. At under $300 and only 15 pounds, this user friendly unit is easy to set up and start up. It also offers a number of features designed to help simplify any task being performed.

The Canon iP6600D has a high resolution for color and black at 9600x2400dpi. Using the FINE technology found in most Canon inkjet printers, over 3,000 nozzles eject droplets from Canon iP6600D ink cartridges onto the desired page. Up to 9600 dots per inch horizontally and 2400 vertically blend together to produce better and more clear photos with a less grainy look than comparable devices. The iP6600D also has automatic red eye adjusting, a sharpening tool and a lighting mechanism to bring out the faces in pictures.

The most unique feature of this unit is the addition of 2 new colors of Pixma iP6600D ink. Along with the standard cyan, magenta, yellow and black, the iP6600 also has the high intensity photo cyan and photo magenta. These new shades of printer ink enhance the accuracy in colors. It comes equipped with smart LED tanks as well. These gage when one or multiple Canon iP6600D ink cartridges are low. The LED blinks to alert the user when the tanks are nearly empty of printer ink.

Businesses may go a different direction when looking for a printer based on the output speed and quality of text, but it is perfect for personal use.
