The Canon CLC-950 is a color laser copier designed for a large office with high volume needs. Its copying speed and print quality are excellent, but its bulky frame may be a tight fit in smaller spaces. For offices with less space, perhaps the LaserJet 3800 toner printer is a better choice.
Canon has always maintained a reputation for reliability in its products as well as a dedication to image quality. From its cameras to its printers, quality images have always been a mainstay for the Canon name. Nowhere is this more evident than the Canon CLC-950, which produces some of the sharpest, clearest copies of any copier on the market. This quality extends not only to black and white copies, but to color copies as well. Color copies are extremely accurate, with good tonal range and very few flaws.
Copy speed is somewhat mixed. Black and white copies print at about 28 pages per minute, but color copies are much slower, at 7 pages per minute. Still, the majority of copies will be black and white, so the CLC-950's slower color speeds will likely be a non-issue for most users. The Canon CLC-950 is a behemoth of a copy machine, measuring 29 x 30 x 39 inches (HWD), its footprint is extremely large. Most offices that need this sort of high-volume copy machine will likely have room for it, but space is certainly a consideration.
