The Canon imageRUNNER 3230 is an excellent monochrome laser copier. What exactly does monochrome mean? Monochrome units are machines that only print in black-and-white. For large offices only needing less than 24,000 black-and-white copies every month, it will be hard to find a unit much better than this. The only real downside to it may be its speeds of only 30 pages per minute using the black Canon 3230 toner. There are many products out there that can work at much faster speeds of around 40-50 pages per minute. If there is time to spare or 30 pages per minute is fast enough, though, this will be a great addition to offices everywhere. The first page out can be produced in under 3.9 seconds, which is pretty fast across the board.
Because it only copies in black-and-white, only one black imageRUNNER 3230 toner cartridge will be needed. The printer toner will last buyers 21,000 pages before expiring, so users probably won't have to replace the Canon 3230 toner cartridge too often. For those who want to save a little bit of money on toners, remanufactured Canon 3230 toner is available from third party vendors. This cost a lot less than the OEM product and will surely lower the cost of OEM printer toner significantly.
When the imageRUNNER 3230 toner is used, resolutions as high as 1200x1200 dpi can be reached. With resolutions like that, every copy will look like the original, and buyers won't have to worry about documents looking distorted or grainy. Up to 999 copies can be created from an original document, and they can be reduced and enlarged from 25%-400%. That means that every document can be edited so that it comes out exactly as desired. Upon purchase, 512 MB of memory are included, however that can be upgraded to 1 GB if needed.
