Home users or small office users who need a multifunction machine with a compact design will find a lot to like in the Brother MFC-210C. It is a printer, scanner, copier, and fax machine. Print speed is around 15 pages per minute for color and 20 pages per minute for black. With inexpensive Brother MFC-210C ink prices, it is also a very economical choice, though not as environmentally friendly as the Phaser 8500 ink printer.
Maximum printing resolution is 1200 dpi, producing very sharp prints. Scanning support resolutions up to 2400 dpi, and color bit depth up to 36-bit. Operating costs are always a concern, and Brother MFC-210C ink cartridges are very affordably-priced, giving the unit a very low cost per page. With separate Brother MFC-210C inkjet cartridges for each of four colors, users only need to replace the color that is empty, rather than a single large cartridge.
